exploration trouble - Guild Wars Forums

Hi, I am new to the forums. So please don't criticize me if this is in the wrong place. Recently, I have been trying to access an area that is supposed to be northeast of the Henge of Denravi but I don't see a way to get there. I looked up a 100% Tyria map and it shows that it is explorable. I would appreciate if someone could help me with this. Thank you.

Also there is an island directly east of the sanctum cay mission. How do I get there. Was it also a part of PvP?

It's the old Arena, and can't be accessed anymore since PvP moved to the Battle Isles.

Also, there is some leeway for the title. You don't literally need every little bit explored. You can get 100% (Grandmaster Cartographer) even though you don't have the old arenas.

EDIT: Yes, that little island was also an old PvP arena, and also no longer accessable.

First of all, welcome to the Forums!

As you've already been told, that spot in no longer accessible, and there is leniency to the title. I suggest you check the Cartographer page on Wiki for tips and tricks.

You could also try TexMod (unless you feel that's "cheating" in a way). I suggest reading the Wiki page on TexMod and this post about TexMod before using it.

Since no one has answered yet. The area directly above Henge of Denravi is part of the Aurora Glade mission. It's the part that you end up in after attuning the 3 portals.

That's the old arena outpost (D'Alessio Arena) that I've never personally been to, but seen screenshots of it before it was removed and only the arena part is now available, only from RA via PvP battle islands.

There are lots of places your character will never be able to access, but you'll still be able to get 100% exploration of entire continent if you are going for title.

If you play Random Arena, you may be able to unlock and explore it and several other arenas that are now closed.

No, you can't. There is no way to get in those old arena outposts.

The map used for the RA Arena is the same, but the location is not. Even if you use that map in RA it does not open the map in PvE. So although you can explore the area (in a way) you cannot do so for mapping purposes.
